What is Evolutionary & Embodied Astrology?
Evolutionary Astrology is a modern practice of astrology that focuses on the soul's path in this life for healing, transforming & evolution. It has a strong focus on Pluto and the Nodes of the Moon. Evolutionary Astrology takes as its framework that human consciousness is evolving and therefore astrology must evolve as well!
Embodied Evolutionary Astrology is part of that evolution.
This is Iris' unique approach to practicing astrology which comes from decades of working with the archetypes combined with scholarship, research & teaching in literature, philosophy, feminist trauma theory, the expressive arts and embodiment. Simply put, Embodied Evolutionary Astrology is the active reclaiming of the archetypes from astrological practices & interpretations rooted in ideologies of power-over.
Embodied Astrology as taught by Iris is an active reclaiming that we co-create together. It supports your own development of a nurturing relationship with the archetypes that's healing and transformative. It's a spiritual & creative practice that involves your whole self and it will change your life from the inside out. Studying Astrology in this way is an opportunity for learning that is deeply integrative .

About Iris
Iris J. is an Evolutionary Astrologer, Author & Educator. She has studied Astrology &
the archetypes for over two decades. She holds various degrees & certificates, from a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Toronto to an Expressive Arts Therapy, Evolutionary Astrology, Yoga, Mindfulness & Reiki. She has been a professional educator for 20 years. Her current teaching & scholarship
include Evolutionary Astrology, Feminist Trauma Theory, Cultural Theory & Critical Media Studies.
All of her work is committed to changing paradigms and to promoting healing, inclusivity & survivor-centred thriving.
