We're meeting for this online retreat just two days after Saturn & Neptune make their conjunction in Aries and during our first Eclipse Season of 2026.
Healing the Witch Wound is part of the new reality forming.
This retreat will help you move into that new reality embracing & claiming your spirituality as you discover more of how your witchy ways are calling you.
In a small group, we'll explore the Witch Wound from different perspectives so that you can enter new layers of embodied consciousness supported by joy, community & astrowitching grace💫
Iris will weave Evolutionary & Embodied Astrology with cultural theory, history, literature & creative inquiry practices to support you in a deep & revitalizing way.
Ultimately, healing the Witch Wound is about cultivating a sense of belonging that comes from remembering a deeply ancient knowing & connection to the elements, to Goddess & to Earth. It's living that knowing here & now, every day without shame. It also includes naming & unlearning the normalized silencing that's become part of mainstream society.
We'll cover some of the main archetypes that bring healing to the Witch Wound through the sacred feminine's presence & belonging in you - Hekate, Black Moon Lilith & Venus.
We'll also cover witchy practices for embodying their magick within you based on the elements and your chart.
You'll come out of this retreat knowing it's possible to find so much love, passion & magick even when grief and pain have been part of our individual & collective stories, as is always the case with the Witch Wound.
Together, we'll enter Hekate's Cave and remember that so much belonging is already present with us & through us.
About Iris
Iris J. Gildea, PhD is an Evolutionary Astrologer, Author & Professor.
She has studied astrology & the archetypes for over 2 decades in addition to holding a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Toronto. Her teaching & scholarship include Evolutionary Astrology, Feminist Trauma Theory, Cultural Theory & Critical Media Studies- all of which are essential to healing the witch wound.
Her recent book, "The Poetry of Belonging: Healing with the language of the wound" offers new paradigms for healing & working with complex trauma within holistic, creative & survivor-centred praxes.
She's currently working on several projects that bridge scholarly & creative approaches to healing the Witch Wound.

It's recommended you have some familiarity with astrology and your own chart for this retreat but beginners are welcome!
